
Join us this January for a 7-Week Meditation & Mindfulness Course that will include the study of Don Miguel Ruiz's book -- "The Four Agreements". Each week, we'll meditate on different tenants from the book and share our thoughts and reflections in nonjudgemental, small group setting.

Our minds are literally being trained to stay busy, engaged, and ON all the time with:
• non-stop notifications on our phones, tablets or computers
• "instant gratification" at the tip of our fingers or the press of a button
This keeps us in our sympathetic nervous system -- fight or flight mode -- which leads to increased cortisol (aka stress) levels, that when remain chronically high can wreak a ton of havoc on our bodies and minds.

OUR MINDS THINK! That's what they do on their own, naturally. But having the ability to slow our thoughts and choose what you invest your mental time and energy into can be a game-changer.
Meditation -- which is the practice of focusing, calming, slowing, or stilling your mind -- can help:

We are offering meditation and mindfulness in the group setting because studies have shown how important human contact and connection are.
